Causes of Water Pressure Issues
Water pressure issues are one of the most common plumbing problems people face. Too little water pressure, even too much water pressure can be an indication that there is something wrong with your plumbing system. Water pressure issues are often one of the first things you might notice if you have a plumbing problem, so addressing your water pressure issues in a timely manner is the best way to prevent unnecessary plumbing problems.
Water pressure issues are commonly caused by:

- Inadequate water supply line

What Causes High Water Pressure?

High water pressure can be caused by living at the bottom of a hill, since water natural path is to run downhill. It could be from you water company trying to keep up with demands, which often happens around fire hydrants and in taller buildings. Or it could be from your water causing thermal expansion inside your home. High water pressure should not be ignored, as it can cause damage to your plumbing system, damage appliances, damage your water heater, and cause unnecessary water waste. To regulate this, have a pressure regulator installed at your main water line. This will help keep your psi at the recommended 80 or below.
