What We’re Known For (and Loved For)

From fast fixes to flawless installs, here’s why Sonoma & Marin homeowners keep us on speed dial.

Sheetrock & Painting

HVAC and plumbing jobs often end up cutting into walls, ceilings, and floors — making your house look like a construction site. But unlike others, we don’t leave your space looking like a mess! Contractors not finishing work and leaving you with a hole to fix? We at John Owens Services restore homes to their original state, making them look brand new and better than ever.

Concrete

Installation and repair jobs in HVAC and plumbing can often lead to cutting into concrete, leaving debris everywhere, and turning your space unpleasant and torn up. At John Owens Services, we not only pride ourselves on fixing your unfinished work but also restoring the beauty of your space. Our professional staff handles everything from cutting, digging, and filling to repouring and matching it with the existing concrete as perfectly as possible.

Carpentry

Installation services for HVAC equipment or plumbing fixtures don't just mean setting up the equipment in place, but also creating a solid foundation for the equipment to run smoothly. That's why we at John Owens Services have dedicated experts who can help you build customer platforms and extensions that support your equipment. We help make your installation procedure a success, and provide a polished finish, making the perfect setup for your equipment.

HVAC & Plumbing Jobs: Before & After Finishing Services

Rerouted Plumbing Pipe In Beautiful Bathroom

We protected a newly remodeled bathroom and rerouted a bathroom pipe that was causing issues for the homeowner who wanted their plumbing routed differently in their home. By protecting the freshly remodeled bathroom and expertly removing the ceiling sheetrock, we were able to go in and gain access to the pipes we needed. After making the necessary repairs, our building repair specialist went back to patch our cut-in and reinstall their bathroom light

Replacing A Cracked Leaking Bathtub

Our client wanted to have a new bathtub installed. In the process, we found wood rot underneath the existing bath tub that our in-house building repair specialist had to repair. We successfully repaired the wood rot, installed a new tub, and matched the existing tile as best as we could, due to the manufacturer no longer making the same tile. Even when projects take an unexpected turn, you can rest easy knowing that John Owens Services will be able take your residential plumbing or heating job from start to finish and return your home back to it’s original state or even better.

Sewer Cleanout Installation & Concrete Repair

When a home’s main line sewer clogs, an accessible cleanout is required to perform a hydrojet drain cleaning or other service to clear the blockage. For this job, we cut into the client’s existing concrete to install a new cleanout. After the installation, we repoured and patched the concrete we cut and matched the color to the existing concrete.

Bathroom Wall Access for Pipe Repair

In order to be able to complete a successful plumbing repair, we need to access the bathroom plumbing pipes in the wall. For this project, we cut into the client’s bathroom wall to be able to work fully with the pipe system for the plumbing repair job. After the work was completed successfully, we re-patched the wall and re-painted to cover any signs of where the wall had been cut into, leaving the client’s bathroom with fully operational plumbing as well as a completely repaired and painted wall.

Master Bathroom Wall Repair

When we perform plumbing work in a master bathroom, we often need to access different areas of piping in the walls. After we have completed the repair or installation work, we completely re-patch and re-paint the wall so that it looks just as it did before we began. Here, after the plumbing project had been completed, we re-patched the master bathroom wall before painting it to match the exact shade of the rest of the wall, leaving it as good as new.

Water Service Installation

Our customer needed a new water service installed at their home. The job required us cutting into an existing concrete stamped walkway to install the new water service line. After the repair, we expertly matched the existing concrete color and stamp pattern. You would never know we were there!

It is generally a good idea to get maintenance done on HVAC systems two times a year: once in the late spring before summer officially begins, and once sometime in the fall before winter officially begins. This way, you know you will have a fully functioning heater and air conditioner throughout the heating and cooling season.

  • Asthma or allergies inside your home.
  • Large accumulation of dust on surfaces.
  • Stale smells throughout your house.
  • Issues with humidity or development of mold and mildew.

Water heaters are complex devices with many different connections that have to be made, such as plumbing, gas or electrical lines, and more. Not only is it incredibly dangerous for you to attempt a water heater installation on your own, but it is also actually prohibited in certain areas. For an efficient and successful job, it is best to leave water heater installation to licensed and insured plumbing professionals.
